Vrudny Receives Luce Fellowship for 30 Years / 30 Lives

Kimberly Vrudny was a 2009-2010 recipient of a SARTS Luce Fellowship grant, which enabled her to travel to Thailand to talk with women who are receiving care after having been trafficked in the sex trade.

20 Years of ARTS Magazine

In marking its 20th anniversary, the academic journal, ARTS, received an extreme makeover from insignia and font to page design and color-rich pages. The magazine is now planning to introduce two additional issues online which will provide added reviews of books, journals, conferences, exhibitions, and poetry along with feature articles.

SARTS Luce Student Fellow: Jane Huber

Jane Huber, a doctoral candidate at Union Theological Seminary in New York City, was a 2008-09 SARTS Student Fellow. She created, Keeping Time: Sung Gospels and Moving Images, a multi-media piece that explores theological and historical time. Read Huber's thoughts on her project and watch the final masterpiece performed on October 5, 2009 in James Chapel at Union.
